Mother- the word itself shows profound depth and love; can a mother be replaced; can her tasks be replaced? Mother is a world of meanings and cultivations; mother cannot be replaced. The care and the love she fills the home and makes the home is indistinguishable from any other role on earth. This is seen in animals too. Mother is a mother whether human or of any kind.
In India: it was common in the earlier generations to be a homemakers and mothers – where fathers earn and took the financial responsibility. How beautiful is that: that the mother has home to take care of and father earns. Just like in the animals too; that the lion hunts for food and the lioness takes care of the cubs. This trend has changed; why and how is the question?
It is quite debatable; women needs to be independent. It is very progressive; men too should help at home: which is also quite reforming. But all this at the cost of what!!! Have we ever wondered that in this rat race of earning and becoming independent who is being scapegoats; can we human ever think selfless, can we ever think of our prodigies that what are we making them into and how ??
Do we have trusts in the relationship(s); why is that so; why can’t two people trust each other and live with a family bond and ties; why can’t we share our tasks; why can’t we do our responsibilities? Where does this trend starts and where will this end up to?
The family bonds have been very fragile over the years especially in our generation and further on. It is very critical if we analyse. Is it ok that single mother or single father raise the child? Is it ok that father and mother keeps changing? Is it ok that we keep evolving? Evolving for betterment that is the question. Are we getting better – especially in relationships and duties as a parent.
We need to see parents : who respect each other, love and care for their child/ children. We need to see family(s) taking responsibility(s). We need to see a better world where our offsprings will be proud of us later.
