Never thought that I would lie on a bed,
Without moving a bit of my body,
My ribs were in pain,
My thighs were tight,
My whole body was sore,
Never thought that I would lie on a bed!
I was broken and shattered,
On one stormy day,
My hope was to heal and sail again,
With hardwork and dedication,
I joined everypiece of mine,
And could get back on my own,
People thought I would break and fall,
Instead, I choose to raise and shine,
Never thought that I would lie on a bed!
