The fear-mongering presented by the media, and the fatality which followed proved how fragile technology and the modern way of life is. A lot of obsolete shows and habits came back to life once again, including the viewership of the old Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Ramayan ‘, something which was a first-time memory for many 90s kids. Relationships were reshaped during the pandemic to a significant extent. As distance replaced weekend ‘addas ‘, all of us realized how important certain bonds are.
Friends who meet up generally were compelled to facetime, or converse on WhatsApp video calls. The experience of companionship just shifted mediums, but not the glee and jolly.
