Amid a sky filled with vibgyor clouds,
The clouds break into a coalition;
The red bleeding into the blue:
Creating a beautiful mix of lavender –
Juxtaposed against the dark grey sky
Overcast with a million of stars
Arranged haphazardly, like child’s play
The translucent drops of moisture sluice down
Like honey dripping from a honeycomb
Brilliant yellow in hue,
Reeking of a scent as sweet as childhood dreams
Wrapped in a colorful foliage
Sparkly enough to hide the revealed veins
Running blue through the skin
Beneath a layer of melatonin
As the last drop of painful memories
Embraces the surface
As muddy as ever
Drenched from head to toe
The purple butterfly sits on her shoulder
Glowing like a neon lamp in the dark
To eyes strangers to beauty
What is lavender
Or what is cobalt blue
If nothing but an illusion of beauty .
