My fitness journey began in 2015 with something as simple as daily walks, gradually evolving into distance running and multiple marathon participations. A severe knee injury in 2017 sidelined me for nearly eight months, but it also transformed my understanding of resilience, recovery, and the need for intelligent, injury‑aware training. When I returned to movement, a subsequent heel injury—diagnosed as plantar fasciitis—once again interrupted my running routine. Instead of stepping away from fitness, I chose to reinvent my approach and discovered Zumba, a format that blended rhythm, energy, and community in a way that immediately resonated with me.In 2018, I earned my Zumba certification and transitioned from enthusiast to instructor, conducting in‑person sessions and turning a personal passion into a purposeful profession. The pandemic then presented both a challenge and an opportunity, prompting me to adapt my practice to the digital space. I began leading online Zumba and Strength & Conditioning sessions, helping individuals remain active, connected, and emotionally anchored during an uncertain time. Driven by a desire to deepen my expertise and better serve those dealing with pain and limitations, I completed formal certifications in Yoga and Pilates in 2021, gaining a richer understanding of anatomy, pain management, and individual health conditions. This multi‑disciplinary foundation now enables me to design holistic, safe, and highly customized programs for diverse populations. In mid‑2021, this commitment to continuous learning and client‑centric coaching opened the door to an opportunity with FITTR, where I have been guiding individuals on comprehensive fitness journeys centered around weight management, flexibility, strength, and sustainable lifestyle transformation. Since 2019, my work has extended to communities in and around Hyderabad, including IT professionals and corporate groups, with a consistent focus on building habits that last rather than chasing short‑term fixes. Community engagement remains a core pillar of my work: as an active member of the Hyderabad Runners group, I have served as a mentor for the Outdoor Kids Summer Camp since 2023 and led numerous high‑energy Zumba sessions at flagship events such as the Kids Run, Purethon, and Starlight Strides. These platforms allow me not only to promote physical fitness, but also to nurture confidence, teamwork, and joy in movement among children, beginners, and seasoned runners alike.Parallel to this, I conduct corporate fitness sessions and team‑building activities that integrate Zumba, Yoga, and strength training to enhance employee well‑being, improve mobility, and reduce workplace stress. I also channel my love for culture and rhythm into Garba classes for community celebrations, using dance as a vibrant medium to blend tradition, fitness, and social connection. My own experience with running‑related injuries has been a powerful teacher, steering me toward a multi‑certified, multi‑modal approach that respects the body’s limits while expanding its possibilities.Today, I intentionally combine the unique strengths of each discipline I teach: Zumba for invigorating cardiovascular training and sheer fun; Pilates for targeted strength, core stability, and improved posture; and Yoga for flexibility, balance, breathwork, and deep relaxation. This integrated methodology allows clients to experience fitness not as a rigid routine, but as a dynamic, adaptable journey that evolves with their goals, age, and life stage. In 2025, I took a natural next step by founding my own fitness centre, NuevaFit. Conceived as a space where science‑backed training meets joyful movement, NuevaFit brings together Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, and Strength & Conditioning under one roof to support truly holistic well‑being. As a certified Zumba, Pilates, and Yoga trainer, I design programs that are engaging yet anatomically informed and injury‑aware, enabling clients to build strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance in a safe and progressive manner.
