Where Strength Meets the Scars
By Ginny Mukesh Jain & Prapti Gautam Kathed | Published by Ink and Ideas Publication House

Some books are read. This one is felt.
Ink and Ideas Publication House is proud to announce the release of Where Strength Meets the Scars, a deeply emotional and reflective collection by Ginny Mukesh Jain and Prapti Gautam Kathed — a poetry book born not from ambition, but from the quiet need to help others heal.
This is not a poetry book that promises easy answers. It explores the silent battles we carry within, the heartbreaks we rarely speak of, the pain we learn to live with, and the healing that slowly finds its way back to us. Each page holds stories, emotions, and moments that reflect resilience, courage, and the quiet strength it takes to rise again. As the authors remind us, scars are not signs of weakness — they are proof of survival.
About the Book
The poetry book opens with a gentle prologue, as if a hand were extended to anyone who picks it up. “You don’t have to read fast, understand everything, or feel hopeful immediately,” it says. “Let these pages sit with you the way a friend would — quietly, without any judgment.” That intention runs through every chapter that follows. This is a poetry book for anyone who has ever felt broken yet continued to move forward for those still healing, still hoping, and still finding their way back to themselves. Because healing, the authors remind us, doesn’t always change who we are. Sometimes it simply reveals who we were meant to become.
About the Authors
Ginny Mukesh Jain is currently pursuing the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) while building a writing journey spanning six years, one shaped, in her own words, more by struggle than by ease. Her work has been featured in several magazines, including the Global Diaspora Newspaper, published across Africa, Zimbabwe, and multiple Indian states. She is the recipient of the International Women’s Icon Award 2025 and has compiled and co-authored numerous anthologies, alongside her recently launched solo collaborative novel, Once God Was a Teenager. For Ginny, this poetry book carries a single guiding belief: heal yourself, and heal everyone around you.
Prapti Gautam Kathed is an aspiring Chartered Accountant who believes that numbers nurture the mind, while words connect souls. Alongside her academic pursuits, she has performed poetry at open mic events, anchored a National Conference organised by WICASA of ICAI, and been featured in the WICASA Newsletter. A co-author of multiple anthologies exploring emotion and self-reflection, Prapti writes with a simple conviction: when words are written with sincerity, they can become a gentle source of strength for someone, somewhere.
