As we move towards our 80th Independence Day mark, let’s celebrate first and be proud for being an Indian.
Independence or freedom in right sense means respecting ones country, respecting their elders, acknowledge their cultural heritage and feel proud of its values that it has instilled in us.
Independence Day is not a single day, it’s a period of struggle fight, sacrificing ones life for the sake of our own motherland. So many lives were sacrificed just to give us a peaceful life. The eminent leaders or freedom fighters during independence of our country are Shri SUbhash Chandra Bose, Shri Bhagat Singh, Rani Lakshmi Bai, Mangal Pandey, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, and the list goes on. Many names even we don’t know, but for their sacrifices, I can write this while sitting on a chair in an independent country.
Independence has a very deeper sense and meaning. It speakes more about our responsibility and accountability towards our country. the constitution ofour country gives us the freedom of speech, but it has to be used in the right sense and the right place. To malign anyone or anything related to our country is not a true sense of independence.A country which speaks about democracy since its independence is surely a country which we feel proud and relieved to stay.
On this independence day let us all take an oath to put a little effort to make this country a better place to live in every respect. A foundation that our grandfathers and great grandfathers have already laid, let’s build a beautiful monument on it with greenary, friendliness, love, respect, values and wisdom. Jai Hind !
