The conflict between education and Repressive State Apparatus and Intellect has always been constant. While the Repressive State Apparatus focuses primarily on strength, tyranny and imposed hegemony, intellect does not do so. It implements the element of rational thinking only. This clash got even more worse with the attack on left book stalls by the government on 17th October, during the expanse of Durga Pujo. In all pervading truth, the light of knowledge can never be suppressed. It can be concealed behind a dark wall positively, but never hidden away from public eye forever and ever. No matter how strong the arms of the bulldozer are, it can never equal the power of education.
Education is more than just a mere necessity, according to me. Education empowers us, making us independent mentally and intellectually. An educated individual can easily distinguish the right from the wrong, and most importantly choose who should represent us on a national level in the government. The government is technically by the people, of the people and for the people. When the citizens of a nation are aware of who is good for governing the nation, they can ensure a better and brighter future of the nation.
