Life is a sacred journey shaped by the values we choose to live by. Our Indian culture, rich with wisdom from the Bhagavad Gita, teachings of great men, and the stories from our epics, constantly reminds us that values guide our actions, build our character, and help us to live meaningful lives.
Life’s Values
Values of life are the principles and beliefs.
They help us distinguish right from wrong, shape our purpose, and build stronger relationships. In our daily lives, these values form the foundation of a peaceful and purposeful existence.
Why are Life’s Values Important?
Teacher and parents can build the character of a child. Every year we celebrate Teacher’s day on 5th September because most of the values we learn from our parents and teachers.
Values are important because they help us make ethical choices, build trust, and give us inner strength during challenges. They allow us to contribute to our families, communities, and our nation positively.

Om Sahana Vavatu” is a Shanti (peace) mantra from the Taittiriya Upanishad, often recited at the beginning of studies or learning to invoke protection, nourishment, cooperation, wisdom, and peace, both for the teacher and the student. It is a prayer that seeks unity, harmony, and the absence of conflict in learning and working together.
