Poetry is Healing
Poetry is an expressive art that heals the soul.
No matter how anxious you are, just pick up the pen, start penning down a poem, while you pen down your poem, you also pen down all your worries and release them. Poetry helps you break the repetitive patterns you have been trying to untangle from your life.
Even though we are living in a day and age of war, we cannot deny the fact that the world has evolved, art has evolved, the horizon of expression has reached all corners of life.
Poetry which once used to be limited to the pages, now can be performed in front of an audience. It has found its place on stage, and when an audience witnesses poetry live on stage, every member in the audience connects with the emotions of the poet.
Women across the globe have found power by sharing their poetry across the stage. They have been able to heal their wounds. From mere survivors they have begun to live through nurturing their poetic narrative on stage.
