With NEET PG 2026 approaching, social-media posts claiming that the examination paper has been leaked have gone viral on platforms including Telegram and Instagram. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has now issued a strong warning, saying the claims are fake.
According to NBEMS, several social-media accounts and groups are falsely claiming that they have access to the NEET PG question paper before the examination. Some posts reportedly attempt to attract candidates by promising access to leaked papers or examination material.
The board has warned candidates not to trust these accounts, advertisements or individuals, particularly those asking for money in exchange for supposed examination papers.
The controversy is gaining considerable attention because NEET PG is one of India’s most competitive medical entrance examinations, and thousands of medical graduates are preparing for the test.
The warning is particularly important because fake paper-leak claims can create panic among students and may also be used to scam candidates out of money.
NBEMS has therefore advised candidates to rely only on official communications and authorised sources for examination information.
