माँ

माँ की याद तो उसको भी
आती है जनाब जिसकी माँ
नहीं होती ।।।

माँ की याद तो उसको भी आती है
जनाब जिसकी माँ नहीं होती ।।

हश्र उनका बुरा होता है जो माँ
के होते हुए भी माँ के लिए तरसते हैं
माँ की एक झलक को भी तरसते हैं ।।

ये ना पूछना उनसे कि कैसे जीते हो ।।
हाल उनका देख
ख़ुद कृष्णा भी रो देता है
खुद कृष्णा भी रो देता है ।।

माँ से मिलने के हर बंद
राहों को ख़ुद कृष्णा खोल देता है
ख़ुद कृष्णा खोल देता है ।।

माँ ।। माँ होती है चाहे देवकी हो या यशोदा ।।

हर बच्चा अपनी माँ के लिए
ख़ास होता है बस माँ ही बिन बोले
हर बात समझ जाती हैं ।।

बिन कुछ बोले ही तेरे हर
हालात समझ जाती है ।।

ये माँ है जनाब खुदका जन्म
दिवस याद नहीं पर बच्चे एक हो या पाँच
हर एक का दिन ही नहीं समय तक
याद रख जाती है ।।

ये माँ है जनाब बिन तुमको देखे ही
हर रोज सपनों में अपने बच्चों से मिल आती है ।।

ये माँ है जनाब बिन नज़र उतारे
अपने बच्चों को गले तक नहीं लगाती है ।।

जनाब ये माँ है बस माँ को याद सुबह शाम
जरा कर लेना बात बहुत छोटी है गाठ बाँध लेना ।।

माना स्वर्ग के ख़्वाब सही होते पर किसी ने ना
देखा जिनको माँ का सुख मिला उनसे
हमने सुना बस स्वर्ग सा जीवन ऐसे ही है जीना
माँ संग स्वर्ग सा जीवन ऐसे ही है जीना ।।

Holding an M.A. and B.Ed., she teaches Hindi and Social Science with a deeply empathetic and student-centred approach.
